Mike Fixx is a gumshoe. His partner Gutman traveled to an outworld through an unregistered passageway to work a con and came back dead.

Gutman left a message warning Mike that this particular outworld was everybody’s worst nightmare. The people there have advanced technology and they’re a bit psychotic. Definitely paranoid.

Mike didn’t like it much but he knew he’d have to find out who murdered Gutman.
