Kivvy is a young exobotanist exploring Noh, a moon-planet recently discovered in the Neptune system.

He has a research grant to examine strange plant life that has inexplicably evolved there, over three billion miles from the sun.

Kivvy’s closest neighbors are the Andie and human residents of Central, an Andie-designed base orbiting Neptune.

Aside from INTELX, his scout ship’s resident AI computer, Kivvy is alone on Noh.
